How can we tell if the adenoids are enlarged?

The most accurate way of checking if the adenoids are enlarged is to look in their nose with a fibreoptic camera. We use a tiny (2.4mm in diameter) endoscope (about half the size of an adult one) and this is mostly well tolerated by children (fiberoptic endoscopy).
